Operation Manager
About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Operation Manager to lead the Project Management Department, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company goals.
- The role requires strong leadership, planning, and cross-team coordination to drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in project or operations management with proven success.
- Previous experience in the events industry is highly preferred.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, MS Project).
- Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- PMI Risk Management Professional / CRM certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of strategic plans for events, including objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Supervise day-to-day operations of the project/event management team. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency and quality.
Develop and manage budgets for each event/project, ensuring expenditures align with financial projections. Conduct financial analyses post-event to assess adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee logistics including venue setup, equipment rental, and transportation coordination. Ensure logistical elements align with timelines and operational needs.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Recruit, train, and mentor project management staff, fostering collaboration. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to build team capabilities.
Conduct post-event/project analyses against KPIs and provide detailed reports. Gather and analyze data to enhance future planning and execution.
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and technologies. Encourage innovative and creative approaches to event/project delivery.
